About Us

Almost immediately after moving to the Outer Banks, Brett Harrison and his wife Becky became friends with their neighbors Brad and Abby Carey.  This friendship led to Brett working on the road building ropes courses with Brad and his brother Alex working for Challenge Design Innovations.  Brad's favorite topic of discussion was the new adventure park he was planning in Nags Head, First Flight Adventure Park.  A few years later that became a reality and Brett left the construction industry to work with Brad and Abby in the management of their new park.  They enjoyed working together and meanwhile Alex was also eager to get "off the road" and settle in one spot.  So just two years after the opening of the first park, Brett, Brad, and Alex decided to team up and open another adventure park in Corolla withit's own unique feel and spirit.  Everything in life is a path that prepares you for the next step.  This has been an incredible journey for these friends and business partners, full of both challenge and triumph, and we hope you will come out to the park and enjoy what was built and meet the partners.  Play on!

Project Information

Construction on Corolla Adventure Park began during the Spring of 2016 and the park plans to opened June 17th, 2016.  This brand new design was created by the same award winning designers that created First Flight Adventure Park.  CAP features 3 circuits on each of 3 levels in a cloverleaf pattern with a total of 60 obstacles and zip lines.  PLUS, there is room for a 4th level of expansion in future years.  The park will provide hours of challenge and entertainment for the entire family from ages 5+.
